For its participation in E/AB Fair 2020, Upsilon Gallery is proud to present new and existing works by a selection of gallery artists including Georg Baselitz, Alberto Burri, Willem de Kooning, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, Brice Marden and Osvaldo Mariscotti, amongst others.
Highlights include Osvaldo Mariscotti's Focus, 2020, the artist's eighth print project with the gallery. In the words of Sarah Kirk Hanley, Executive Director at the Manhattan Graphics Center, "In Focus, Osvaldo Mariscotti reinvents recent explorations in oil pastel, translating them into the screenprint technique with master printers at the renowned Brand X Editions. This striking edition equals or exceeds the visual impact of the corresponding unique works on paper. Oscillating lines in a dazzling array of gem tones and metallics engulf four large organic shapes in red, green, orange, and yellow. Is this a psychedelic Zen garden, or perhaps a birds-eye view of an ocean at sunset from an alternate planet?"
A selection of works from the E/AB Viewing Room presentation will be available to view at the gallery throughout Print Month.
